"Stronger Faster Better. We can be rebuilt."

There's been some talk about a Six Million Dollar Man Feature Film, at one point, Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy) had even written a script, but the project appears to be in limbo. Bionic, by Sealed Weasels is a song for the hypothetical soundtrack.

"I read an interview with Kevin Smith where he said that the problem with the Six Million Dollar Man was that he could no longer be made for only six million dollars," says vocalist/guitarist Paul French.

"After I read the interview I started thinking 'What else could you call it? The Bionic Man?' I remembered the early teaser ads for Tim Burton's Batman, where they just showed the logo, and thought 'Bionic'"

I had the idea for the song, and started developing lyric ideas, so that the song about a movie that isn't a movie would stand up on its own, and then Bill played that riff, and within a few hours we had our song."

The song was the first to be recorded on the band's digital recording system, shortly after the system was built.

As their debut single, Bionic shows a band with a unique sound drawing on many influences and fusing them into something new.
