Where does one begin to talk about Frank Zappa? Talk about unflinching! Zappa never cared what was popular. He made the music that he wanted to make bringing Jazz, Classical, Humour, Avant Garde and many other styles together in a musical stew that continues to inspire these many years later. Peaches In Regalia, from 1970's Hot Rats, and one of Frank's personal favourites is a stellar piece of music. Frank's musical legacy is huge. Look at some of the musicians who came through his band: Adrian Belew, Aynsley Dunbar, Steve Vai, Vinnie Colaiutia, Warren Cucurullo, Terry Bozzio, Patrick O'Hearn, Mike Keneally and so many others. His two sons, Dweezil and Ahmet had a band in the early 90's (with Keneally) called Z. They too were a band that did whatever they wanted.
