Andrew Kramer has fronted semi-pro and pro club bands since the early 90s. His first band, Toronto's rock alternative band Up your Sleeve gained notoriety for playing such clubs as the Opera House as well as many successful house parties. After relocating to Southwestern Ontario in 1999, he fronted the all-original alternative band SOMA for a year. From there, Kramer was drafted to Waterloo-based blues and R&B cover band One Bald Tire in 2004 and fronted that band for two years, singing on their debut album Retreads. He left that band to spend more time with his young family but returned to the live music scene around 2008 and sang in a string of acts, covering classic rock, blues. jazz, and new rock. Kramer was invited to sing for the heavy rock band Exit Right 4 and completed an all-original album,End of Time, with them from 2010-2011, singing on 6 original numbers and also playing harmonica for the sole blues song on the album. Kramer is now happy to call himself the lead vocalist for Bad Neighbours. He prides himself on precision delivery, a wide baritone-tenor vocal range, and energetic stage presence, complemented with harmonica and various percussion instruments. |
